I've never been one for braving those wuthering heights in skinny heels or towering stilettos. So when I saw this season's catwalks awash with the lovable and functionally chunky clog I breathed a welcome sigh of relief. These cumbersome little beauties won't sink into any surface that isn't cement, get stuck in just about everything or get slip out from under you in the fraction of a second. Those empowered 1970's women had the right idea, good to see we're following in their footsteps.
